Had lunch at your restaurant the first day I arrived in Knoxville and sadly for me (but not for Chandlers) the experience was not surpassed anywhere else during my trip to the USA!! Quite simply the best food and value for money anywhere... Please come and open a deli in New Zealand - no-one here knows how to cook ribs properly!! Thanks for making my visit to Knox so memorable. You all are, simply put, the best. My friend and I found your restaurant during our sophomore year at Carson-Newman, and I've been introducing people every chance I get since then. I make it a point to stop in at least once a month because you guys are the greatest restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at.

Thanks for doing what you do!

I just realized how long it has been since I've stopped in for a meal when I was in Knoxville. This is a problem that WILL be remedied my next trip in. Thank you so much for doing what you do. Y'all seriously made my last few years in college tolerable. Bad day? Fried chicken. Problem solved.

I live within a mile of your restaurant and I often stop by for a "to go" meal. I love the meats as well as the veggies . . . especially the broccoli casserole. Chandler's is a great place to eat IN of take OUT and the prices are quite reasonable. Since there are practically no sit down-type restaurants in east Knoxville, yours is a pleasant surprise.

Hello and I greet you in the Name of Jesus, my friend (Jenette) and I dined in your restuarant this previous weekend and I havn't stopped talking about it since. The hospitality was great, the food was excellant. Thank you for a taste of southern hospitality and a reminder of Mom's hom-cooking!

I can't wait to get to Knoxville!! I heard about Chandler’s and the menu makes my mouth water. I want the fried chicken, pork ribs, macaroni & cheese, greens, corn on the cob, red beans and rice, cabbage… Oh man! I am signing up for extra Pilates classes just so I can eat what and how much I want on this trip! I have a few months to work it off and then IT IS ON! Save me a plate!

Just got home after helping my son move into UT. After getting his things into the apartment, we headed to what is our top choice in Knoxville to eat at. Since everything I have eaten at your restaurant has been excellent, it is hard to decide what to get anymore. This time we all got your fried chicken which is some of the best I have ever put into my mouth. Last visit I tried your fried catfish. I have never had catfish melt in my mouth the way yours did. Your fried okra is better than my grandmothers ever was and your mac-n-cheese is the best. If anyone has never ate any of your deserts, they are missing out on getting a diabetic comma that is well worth getting. Your cobblers are awesome and my son just tried the banana pudding. You are now tops on his list for pudding(hope his adopted granny dont find out) It gives that down home feeling when you have Kool-Ade for one of the drink choices. I could go on and on. Keep doing what your doing. Hopefully we will be celebrating our son's graduation from UT and he has already requested dinner to be at Chandlers. God bless and take care.

Had lunch today for the first time at Chandler's Deli.
This was awesome and absolutely wonderful food. I had watched several of the espn football announcers talk about the deli and how great it was. So along with my husband and dear friend we tried it out.
We were not disappointed in the very least.
Large portions and it was true southern cooking.

Since rediscovering Chandler's a few months ago,my husband and I just can't seem to get enough. I don't know anywhere else that you get the amount of food for the price. I'm just grateful that this FANTASTIC restaurant is close to where we live,or I should say my husband is,because I send him at least once a week, okay sometimes twice,to get some of the BEST food you will ever eat!

We vacation in Pigeon Forge every December and vowed to find Chandler's after seeing it on "Taste of the Town". The food was excellent and Mr. Chandler and his staff are very friendly. The fried chicken and fried green tomatoes were wonderful. My husband enjoyed the ribs with the macaroni and cheese. We will make it a point to stop by every chance we get while in the area.
